Israel is winning on the world stage, but losing the plot at home

Last week at the White House, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain recognized Israel as a nation and normalized relations, but this does not take away from the issues that Israel if facing back home. Despite backlash from many citizens, the country is heading into it’s second general lockdown with over 200,000 coronavirus cases and an unstable economy, and many point the nation’s problems to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Not only is Netanyahu facing charges of bribery and fraud and breach of trust, but many citizens feel he failed to lead the country through the pandemic effectively.

Togo names first female Prime Minister

Togo’s President Faure Gnassingbe elected Victoire Tomegah Dogbe, making her the country’s first female prime minister. She is well respected in Togo, having worked in numerous offices under Gassingbe’s government and has fought against youth unemployment and poverty. In contrast, Gassingbe continually faces growing opposition amidst slowed economic growth, accusations of electoral fraud, and human rights violations.

The cat who hitched a lift on a worldwide tour

Dean Nicholson was tired of his 9–5 life and decided he would pack up his things and travel the world. After beginning his adventure and traveling into Bosnia, he found a cat who didn’t want to leave his side, so they began traveling together. The two have now covered over 100,000 miles, and document their travels for their 800,000 followers Instagram followers and 150,000 Youtube subscribers.
